Open an image in Photoshop.
# Layer
1. You can add a layer to an image by clicking on the layer icon found on the Layers menu. With each click you create a new layer in your photo.
2. After clicking on the Layer icon, you are prompted to select the type of layer that you want to create.
3. From the top, you can choose whether to create a regular layer, a clipping mask, a background, a stroke or mask, or a group.
4. You can create more than one layer for a single photo. Although only one layer can be on the screen at a given time, you can have many layers in a photo. For example, you can have a street sign layer, a tree layer, and a street sign texture layer that are in a photo. The different layers behave differently.
5. Start naming the layers you create. If you’re going to be doing a lot of changes, it is a good idea to name the layers so you can easily find them. To name layers, you can either click on the arrows in the lower-right corner or use the F keys to select the layer name box.
Layers are created and edited in Photoshop.
6. In the Layers dialog box, you can see a list of all the layers in your photo. You can click on the layer name to change the name and rearrange the order. You can apply a layer style, a drop-shadow, a gradient or a pattern to a layer. You can also create a new group, either ungroup, add a new group, create a new layer, duplicate, combine, bring a layer forward or apply masking.
7. To add a layer, you can click on the layer icon at the top of the Layers dialog box or you can right-click on the layer you want to add and choose Create Layer.

8. Once you’ve created a new layer, you can select it from the Layers dialog box. As you select it, the color of the layer changes to a “blank” layer, meaning that you can apply whatever effect you want to the layer without affecting the other layers.

Applying a Filter
Before applying a filter, ensure the best image quality.
Select a filter from the main Photoshop Elements window by clicking on the Filter icon in the upper-right corner of the work area.

Scroll down the window list until you find a filter that you want to apply to your image. Select the filter name to apply it to the current image.
The image will update with the result of the filter applied to it.
Adding Text
Create a new text object by either pressing the T icon in the main Photoshop Elements window or by right-clicking on the work area of Photoshop Elements.
Or you can select the type tool and start typing the text that you want to add.
After you are done with the text, you can use Photoshop Elements’ sizing, aligning, and positioning tools to move the text to a better location in your image.
You can resize, move, place, rotate, and edit the text that you’ve added to your image.
You can also add a drop shadow to your text, adjust its color, and change the text color.
Text can be placed either on an image’s background or in a layer.
Adding a Layer
After selecting the type tool, start typing the text.
After you are done with typing the text, use the Layers panel to open the Photoshop Elements text editor and create a new layer.
Press the Enter key or click on a preset layer name in the Layers panel.
Use the tools in the Layers panel to move, rotate, and resize text on a layer.
When you are finished editing the text layer, you can create a new document and press OK to close the Photoshop Elements editor.
Note: Any edits you make to the text layer are overwritten when you create a new document.
Adding a Gradient Fill
The Gradient tool allows you to create beautiful gradients and patterns in your images.
In Photoshop Elements, click on the Gradient tool in the main Photoshop Elements window or press the T icon.

We now call out the names of people on Twitter, in gossipy blogs, in the media and more. It is no longer considered a compliment to call your political opponent a liar. Our culture has changed.
To maintain stability and peace, we must pretend that these changes didn’t happen. We must continue to call names. We must encourage slander and gossip. We must pretend that everyone out there with an opinion and a microphone is trustworthy. We must continue to make every personal relationship a competition.
We must continue to keep the people we like close to us, and distance the people we don’t like, lest they influence the people in our lives. This is our culture. We call this ‘democracy,’ and it seems to be working just fine. If things start going wrong, it is time to give Aaron Burr a little extra respect.

Before the Court is plaintiff’s motion to transfer to the District of New Jersey pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a). The defendant, a Delaware corporation, has filed opposition, and the motion is ripe for disposition.
Plaintiff, Meadow Street, Inc., is a Delaware corporation, and the only Maryland-based defendant in this action. Defendant Malvern Supermarket, Inc. is a Delaware corporation and has its sole place of business in New Jersey. The amount in controversy, $200,000, is sufficient for diversity jurisdiction. 28 U.S.C. § 1332.
The motion to transfer is based upon the theory that an Iowa arbitration clause in the agreement between the two parties must be upheld by this Court. It is true that this Circuit has a policy against enforcing agreements to arbitrate which are contrary to public policy. E.g., Nationwide Mut. Ins. Co. v. Tuggle, 232 F.Supp. 454, 459 (D.Md.1964); Flight v. Continental Trailways, Inc., 664 F.2d 806, 813-14 (10th Cir.1981); Zucca v. Kress & Co., 54 F.Supp. 954 (D.Md. 1944). However, plaintiff has failed to demonstrate, and the Court finds, that enforcing this arbitration clause would be contrary to any statutory or common law of Maryland.
Neither party has cited to the Court any Maryland law which would be offended by the resolution of the dispute by means of an arbitration clause as opposed to this forum. The only case that this Court has discovered in which a Maryland court has reviewed and determined the applicability of an arbitration clause with equal vigor and respect to the law of Maryland was decided by the New Jersey Superior Court, Magariel v.
